A creamy, tangy, and sweet apple dip made with light cream cheese and Greek yogurt, topped with crunchy toffee bits. Perfect for a quick and easy dessert or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz light cream cheese (block style), softened
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits (plus more for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Apple slices (for serving, such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, Granny Smith, or Pink Lady)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Remove from fridge 30 minutes before starting, or microwave on low for 10-15 seconds until soft but not melted.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer on medium speed until smooth and fluffy (about 1 minute). Scrape down sides.
  3. Add Greek yogurt and vanilla extract; beat on medium speed until well combined and light (30-45 seconds).
  4. Add powdered sugar and salt; beat on low then medium until fully incorporated (about 30 seconds). Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  5. Add caramel sauce; beat on low speed until just combined. Leave a few swirls for a marbled effect if desired.
  6. Gently fold in toffee bits with a spatula until evenly distributed.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (optional but recommended for best flavor and texture).
  8. Just before serving, core and slice apples. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning if desired.
  9. Stir the dip, drizzle with extra caramel sauce, and sprinkle with additional toffee bits. Serve immediately with apple slices.

Notes

For best texture, use block-style light cream cheese (not whipped) and full-fat or 2% Greek yogurt. Avoid fat-free versions. The dip can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Do not freeze. For a gluten-free version, ensure toffee bits and caramel sauce are certified gluten-free.
